Rules of the Awards
- entries must be received by the Chairman of the Judges no later
than Friday 4 December 2009 (late entries may
be permitted under certain circumstances - please email events@cafonline.org to find out
if you are eligible).
- only online reports and accounts will be accepted and judged
(no paper copies). Your accounts should be an interactive part of
the website, or a PDF format or downloadable Word document.
- the Awards are only open to organisations with accounts drawn
up in accordance with the charities' SORP or other Charity
Commission guidance for small charities.
- entrants should ensure accounts remain online and are not
altered in any way over the judging period.
- the online accounts should display a typed name and date in the
trustees' report, balance sheet, and the auditor's report.
- entrants for the Awards will be expected to have complied with
the best practice at the time of preparing their accounts.
- once the awards have been announced, each entry will receive a
copy of the technical screeners' completed checklist and any
additional comments from the judges. The judges' decision is final
and no further correspondence will be entered into.
The judging period takes place from 5 December 2009
- 6 May 2010.
- entrants must submit accounts with year end 2008 or 2009.
- shortlisted candidates will be contacted to notify them of
their success. All entrants will be invited to attend the Awards
ceremony.
