Johnny Depp makes mark for charity

Johnny DeppJohnny Depp is the latest celebrity to add his handprint to a book that will raise money for children's charities.

Orlando Bloom, Keira Knightley and David Beckham have already donated their handprints to a book called Celebrity Handprints by James Preston, which will raise money for Children in Need and Great Ormond Street Hospital.

From December 1st people will be able to buy the book from Amazon and a special website.

James Preston spent the three years compiling a collection of handprints and photographs from over 100 celebrities involved in film, television, music and sport and profiles 42 stars in the book.

In addition to the actual-size handprints in the book, a unique limited edition series of giclee prints is available to buy with quality reproductions from celebrities including Johnny Depp, the Gallagher brothers, Gwen Stefani and footballers John Terry and Steven Gerrard .

With a third of all proceeds going to charity, the true-size giclee prints come with a 5" x 7" photo of the celebrity printing their hand.
