London Catalyst

London Catalyst, formerly the Metropolitan Hospital-Sunday Fund, was established in 1873 at a meeting of religious and civic leaders hosted by the Lord Mayor. It was agreed that each year a collection be made to help improve the lives of the ‘sick and poor’ of London. Today the legacy of the original entreaty and our annual appeal helps us to continue to fund projects tackling unmet health needs in London’s poorest areas.
