Education for the Underprivileged - THE SANDEMA PROJECT. 120 million children worldwide have no school to go to. In rural Ghana, West Africa, many state primary schools are derelict and have 1 teacher to 100 pupils. Most parents cannot afford a pencil, let alone school fees. Books are an unimaginable luxury. Children who manage to complete 6 years in primary school often remain without literacy skills.
