3H Fund (Helping Hands for Holiday) supports people with disabilities and carers have a period of respite. Every year, 3H run a grant programme to assist people with disabilities and their families on a low income to organise a UK holiday for themselves. Carers can also be awarded a grant for a holiday away from their caring role. 3H have built a reputation over many years for providing subsidised group holidays for people with disabilities at well researched activity venues. Independent holidays many didn’t think would be possible for them to experience. The holidays also give their day to day carers a valuable period of respite. The TeensPLUS and Carers programmes award funds to organisations, who support young people with disabilities, young carers or adult carers, to provide activities and days out. Home-based respite activities and hampers are also provided to carers and those aged 13-25 with disabilities.
