In the 17th century, George and Thomas Hutcheson, merchants in Glasgow, founded the school which still bears their name. Throughout its history Hutchesons' Grammar School has always been an unashamed champion of academic excellence - and a school open to intelligent children from any background through its bursary scheme. Co-educational and non-denominational, Hutchesons’ welcome pupils from age 5 to 18 and offers them exceptional opportunities for their educational and personal growth.
