The education and residential care of children and young people from across the UK with exceptionally complex social and learning needs with a range of additional disabilities including multi sensory impairment, exceptionally low cognitive ability and additional communication needs. A significant number of the children fall within the autistic spectrum, have cerebral palsy and present with challenging behaviour alongside their other special educational needs.
