Western Chan Fellowship

We provide training in Buddhist meditation with locally based meditation groups and by organising intensive residential retreats. Our tradition is Chinese Zen in the lineages of Linji and Caodong Chan transmitted through Master Sheng-yen. We include other forms of Buddhism such as Tibetan, and we also explore the relationship between Western Psychology and Buddhist meditation practice. We are open to allcomers, not only to Buddhists, and indeed many of our participants are not Buddhist.
