Terms of use - credit and debit card donations
Use of this site constitutes acceptance of our terms of
use and privacy policy. The terms of use that relate
specifically to all credit card and debit card donations are set
out below.
If you do not accept all of these terms of use, do not use this
website.
1. Charity donations
We may not be able to make a payment to the charity of your
choice if we do not have its bank details, or if its charitable
status has recently changed. In this case we will contact the
charity to obtain the required information. If we do not receive a
response from the charity after 30 days, we will ask you to select
a different charity to receive your gift. If we do not hear from
you within another 30 days, your gift will then be passed to the
CAF Grants Council to distribute to charity. Refunds
will be at the discretion of the Charity.
2. Deductions
A 5% deduction will be made from your donation to
cover all administration costs including credit card
processing fees.
3. Unauthorised card use
When a donation is made the transaction is final and not
disputable unless unauthorised use of your payment card is proved.
If you become aware of unauthorised use of your card, or if it
is lost or stolen, you must notify your card provider in accordance
with its reporting rules.
4. Money Laundering
Anti money laundering legislation requires us to fulfil certain
obligations before we can process your donation. Therefore, there
may be circumstances when we need to contact you for further
information.
