Your employees can give in four ways
Direct donation
Your employee fills in a form with the details of how much they
want to give and which charity or charities they want to give to.
Then they hand the form to your payroll department. These details
can be changed at any point in the future.
CAF Charity Account
If your employees want even more flexibility in their charitable
giving, they can set up a CAF Charity Account. This gives them the
ability to give regularly to any charitable organisation registered
in the UK, or save up their donations to respond to specific
appeals. Employees will get a ‘charity
chequebook’ and CharityCard, so donations can be made
over the phone, online, by post, by standing order or face to
face.

Staff Charity Fund
Fundraising together is terrific for boosting morale and team
building. A Staff Charity Fund lets colleagues pool the money they
each donate before tax, and hold it all in one account. The account
can be administered by a committee of employees – or by the
company. The money can be donated every month, or can be saved up
and given to a nominated charity, such as your company’s Charity of
the Year.
CAF Trust
If you have higher earners in your organisation who want to give
£10,000 or more a year (maybe at bonus time), and you want them to
have the opportunity to support charity in the long term, a
CAF
Trust is the ideal solution. And because the trust is funded
through Give As You Earn, starting a £10,000 trust only actually
costs your employee £6,000. Alternatively, the trust can be funded
with a minimum of £500 a month. Our fund managers invest the money,
and then the donor gets to decide who benefits from the
interest generated. And they can even share the decision with their
families.
