Choosing the right charity
With so many charities in need
of your help, deciding which to support can be difficult.
Charities in the UK receive around £35bn every year, but there's
a huge income gap between large and small organisations. Most
charities are small, with an annual income of less than £10,000,
but the top 7% of charities receive almost 90% of all
donations.
Finding a charity
Our Charity Search makes it easy to
find charities that meet your personal criteria.
You can search for a charity using keywords, or narrow your
search down by cause, such as the environment or social
welfare.
If you want to support a local charity, you can search for
a charity by location.
Perhaps you want to support a large charity with a track record
of effective work, or a small one working in a field that matters
to you.

Charity profiles
You can find out more about each charity on its profile page,
including its mission statement, latest news, and financial
information such as income versus expenditure. If the charity has a
website, this can also be a great source of information.
