Choosing the right charity

Images depicting various charitable causesWith so many charities in need of your help, deciding which to support can be difficult.

Charities in the UK receive around £35bn every year, but there's a huge income gap between large and small organisations. Most charities are small, with an annual income of less than £10,000, but the top 7% of charities receive almost 90% of all donations.

Finding a charity

Our Charity Search makes it easy to find charities that meet your personal criteria.

You can search for a charity using keywords, or narrow your search down by cause, such as the environment or social welfare.

If you want to support a local charity, you can search for a charity by location.

Perhaps you want to support a large charity with a track record of effective work, or a small one working in a field that matters to you.
