    The Sunday Times Giving List 2023

    Since 2005, we've partnered with The Sunday Times to produce the Giving List, part of the annual Rich List, which celebrates the incredible work of philanthropists in Britain. This year’s list tracks the philanthropic activity of 100 of Britain’s wealthiest people who collectively gave £3.4 billion to charity personally or through their charitable foundations or businesses.

    How can we give effectively to Sudan?

    Donors may also be concerned about which charities will make the most of their donations. Large international organisations are often experienced in crisis response, for example offering expertise in providing medical aid, experience in the territory, or supporting crisis victims. This kind of support, often at scale, is invaluable particularly in the initial stages of a crisis.

Chaired by former Cabinet Secretary Lord Gus O’Donnell, the Commission has proposed a range of policy recommendations and initiatives aimed at unleashing the full potential of the charity sector over the next decade.
