Data Green is the new Compliance Administrator at CAF Venturesome. She ensures that all due diligence Anti-Money Laundering checks are conducted on potential investees prior to them accessing their  loans. She's also responsible for reviewing investees' accounts on an annual or 3-yearly basis, depending on the risk level given to each investee.

I have a legal background at various law firms before I moved into the charity sector working at Crisis UK and Amnesty International UK.

I practised as a civil litigation lawyer for two years at Bearing Sach Solicitors, where we provided advice to corporate organisations contemplating litigation or subject to the threat of litigation. In addition to this we represented charities with any legal issues including the setup of charities and negotiating leases on behalf of the charity. This experience provided me with a broad understanding of the framework in which charitable organisations operate.

Furthermore I have worked and volunteered extensively within the Law and Charity Sector as a Compliance Officer.  I have a degree in Law and a Master’s in Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Sunderland. I have taken numerous courses and training in Compliance, Anti-money Laundering and Fraud Prevention Management.  I am currently working towards obtaining a Diploma in Investment Compliance from the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investments.

I am very zealous about homelessness, disadvantaged and marginalised people in who have multiple and complex needs; people with mental health issues or substance misuse and complex trauma and abuse (physical, mental, emotional and sexual abuse). As a result of my passion, I have taken courses to teach me how to relate to these individuals, no matter their history or background, supporting them to address their needs and taking control of their lives. I try to do whatever I can to help homeless people and volunteer at Crisis at Christmas.

I am continuously taking courses to educate myself and to keep up to date with changing laws and policies. I believe that knowledge is power and I encourage the youth group I mentor, and other youngsters, to stay in school to reach their full potential.
