SPOTLIGHT ON ANNE-HELENE SINHA

13 August 2018

Anne-Helene Sinha has recently joined CAF Venturesome as Investment Manager and is primarily responsible for the management of the CLT II fund. While administering the current portfolio of social investments and undertaking new deals, she will also work on designing our next fund (as our CLT II fund will end in August 2019).

TELL ME A BIT ABOUT YOURSELF AND YOUR BACKGROUND

Following a couple of years as a management consultant in France (my home country) for the private and public sectors, I decided to move to the UK and get involved in the thriving UK social enterprises sector. I worked for various socially-focused management consultancies, most recently for Mutual Ventures, as their business development lead for charities and social enterprises.

With a decade of experience in the sector, I remain passionate about charities. I have advised and supported many charities and social enterprises over the year, from start-ups to national bodies, and the vision and dedication of their leadership and staff team has always been a real inspiration.

WHAT TYPES OF CAUSES ARE YOU MOST ATTRACTED TO?

As a mother of two girls, I am particularly passionate about initiatives that empower girls and women in general, as well as projects that are educative for young and not-so-young learners. Over the years, I have embraced many causes, having met passionate entrepreneurs whose passion is often very infectious.
