You will be a wordsmith with an eye for detail and a desire to assist us building our reputation, as a thought-leader, on the giving landscape.  From short and long-form writing to sub-editing, campaign copy to newsletters, the role will be varied and interesting. No two days will be the same, and you can expect to see your content have a measurable impact on the lives of our customers and their beneficiaries.

Practiced interview and journalistic writing skills are essential, in order to build strong branded narratives while also supporting our customers with relevant, actionable content. An understanding of Google Analytics and the use of customer personae are vital. Experience in building and moderating digital communities is important, to ensure ongoing content distribution and refinement.

You will work directly with both Marketing and External Affairs colleagues as part of a wider brandedcommunications team. You will be responsible for building and maintaining an organisation-wide content calendar, using digital tools.

A working or academic background in journalism and/or marketing content creation would be ideal. A degree in journalism or marketing content creation is required. Experience of paid social media would be an advantage. Relevant working experience will mean you can draw upon your earlier successes to help shape how we communicate with our audiences.
