David Jessop

Executive director of People and Purpose

David joined Charities Aid Foundation in 2021 following professional positions spanning both commercial and charitable organisations. He has held a number of senior HR leadership roles across retail, education and the charitable sector. 

David’s previous positions have included Director of HR and Operations at Royal British Legion Industries (RBLI), Chief Operating Officer at Rathbone UK and Intraining, and most recently Executive People Director at international pan-disability charity Leonard Cheshire.

David is passionately committed to supporting organisations to deliver positive social impact both in his professional career and personal life.
