DAVID STEAD, DIRECTOR OF PHILANTHROPY AND DEVELOPMENT

David Stead leads the Philanthropy Division, which works with private client, family and corporate donors globally to help them achieve their goals for philanthropy and social investment. The teams provide expert advice and design client solutions in the most effective ways.

The charity advisory team helps clients to plan and grow strategically, and provides governance, grant-making and legacy services. The division generates around £300 million per year for distribution to charities around the world.

DAVID'S ROLE AT CAF

David Stead has been in his current position at CAF since November 2013, having joined after two years as CEO at London legal firm 11KBW. With a background in marketing, he has held directorial positions at a number of major organisations, including Accenture, KPMG and UBS.

As well as an MBA from IESE, David holds a BSc (Hons) from Cass Business School. He now oversees the work of a 45-strong team, dedicated to providing advisory and financial solutions to major businesses from a range of different industries.
