Ian Cohen 

Group Chief Operating Officer  

Ian joined Charities Aid Foundation in April 2022 from OSTC, a financial trading and education company where he was COO/Deputy CEO. Prior to joining CAF Ian spent 14 years with HSBC in a variety of COO/CSO roles across the UK, Asia and the Middle East.

Before HSBC Ian also held CEO/COO/CIO roles with BCS Plc, a financial services consultancy, Jiway Sweden Stock exchange, Fidelity, Morgan Stanley and Barclays Capital.

Ian started his career as a software engineer working, amongst others, for Natwest, Barclays and Aerospatiale.  

In his spare time Ian is an advisor to a number of charities. He is married with two children, and lives in Battle, Sussex.
