Kings Hill charity takes to the phones for Sport Relief

Friday 18 March

More than 60 staff at the Charities Aid Foundation (CAF) based in Kings Hill, West Malling, Kent, are volunteering to receive calls for Sport Relief tonight.

CAF’s award-winning Customer Services team, as well as other CAF employees, will be answering calls and accepting donations.

CAF staff will be taking calls from 7pm until 11pm during the star-studded spectacular night of television which heralds the start of the weekend of events which are part of Sport Relief.

The money raised by Sport Relief is divided between charitable causes based in the UK and projects which transform lives across the world’s poorest communities.

CAF is a global charity which promotes charitable giving and provides financial services and social finance to not-for-profit organisations, with just over 350 employees based in its head office in Kings Hill, West Malling in Kent.

Sharon Scott, Senior Customer Service Manager (Contact Centre) at CAF, who is coordinating the evening, said: “I’m thrilled that CAF is once again able to support one of the biggest fundraising events of the year.

“We know from our research that these kinds of events are crucial in getting large numbers of the public engaged with vital causes, who may not otherwise be aware of the work of charities.

“As a charity and as part of CAF values it is important we support these fantastic causes and it is great to see so many staff giving up their time to do so."
