HOW WE'RE INSPIRING GIVING IN THE UK

We are helping to drive positive change and secure the future of giving by advocating on behalf of charities, reflecting their needs and concerns to decision makers and opinion formers in order to create a positive climate for charities to operate in.

We work with government to improve the different ways that people are able to support charities, making it easier for people to give to the causes they care about. We engage with politicians across different levels of government to ensure that there is a supportive network of legislators putting charitable issues on the political agenda.  Our independent research on giving trends informs our campaigns and policy positions.

OUR UK CAMPAIGNS

We are currently focusing on three key themes: Place-based giving to encourage philanthropic support for our urban areas.  The giving environment, working with government and influencers to secure the rights of charities and donors, and Giving Tuesday our annual awareness campaign.

Place-based giving

We believe the time is now to look again at philanthropy, not only as a route to financial investment, but also as a way of reconnecting people with places and spaces.
