EMPLOYEE ENGAGEMENT IN CSR IN BULGARIA

In 2009 CAF Bulgaria commissioned research into the nature and levels of employee engagement in Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) in Bulgaria. This report picks out the highlights of that survey, considering in particular employee engagement with company volunteering schemes and the motivations behind this from the perspective of both employees and management.

Finally, the report explores the ways in which these findings are comparable to previous findings regarding Corporate Community Investment (CCI) in the UK.

CAF Bulgaria works closely with companies and NGOs to design, implement and review volunteer projects. This research provides companies and CAF Bulgaria with useful benchmarks and background on needs and perceptions, ultimately helping them to better benefit the third sector in Bulgaria.
