The Government’s decision to cap tax relief on charity donations will cost British society up to £1.5 billion a year, according to new research.
The study - commissioned by CAF and carried out by Oxford Economics, the leading economic forecasting consultancy - analysed studies into the value of charitable work, to assess the potential impact of the proposed tax relief cap on civil society.
