RUSSIA GIVING 2015

The Russia Giving Report 2015 presents the findings of research into individual giving in Russia over a 12 month period and analyses the common giving patterns and habits of Russians.

The research was carried out in conjunction with the Synovate Comcon Company. The surveys were carried out among the adult population of 15 Russian cities (population 500,000+), excluding the far east of the country.

KEY FINDINGS

  • 50% of the adult urban population - 44.5 million people - gave money to NGOs or to the church in the last 12 months. This is 10% higher than last year.
  • Nearly 70% of the urban adult population took part in charitable activities, this compares to over 60% participating last year.
