CHIEF INFORMATION OFFICER, CAF BANK

Robert joined CAF Bank in April 2022 as Chief Information Officer (CIO). He is responsible for ensuring CAF Bank has the appropriate technology solutions in place to support our strategy. This includes making sure customers and colleagues have a positive experience with our IT solutions, being responsible for appropriate IT service availability, and providing capability to our regulator.

Robert is passionate about the impact that appropriate technology-based solutions can have on our customers and colleagues, automating repetitive tasks, and increasing customer satisfaction through customer centric journeys.  He is excited to put this passion into practice through the Bank’s ongoing transformation programme.

Prior to joining CAF Bank, Robert worked at NatWest for 25 years. He started his career in NatWest Markets working in equities, fixed income and FX before moving into a variety of Technology leadership roles for the group, including as CIO of RBS Personal Business Banking, and CIO of Home Buying and Ownership. 

Off the clock: Robert has a private pilot licence and enjoys gardening and travel.
