CROSS-CHARITY
COLLABORATION

Effective and successful collaboration

Partnering up or simply collaborating informally presents a great opportunity for charities to share ideas, connections and best practice. These partnerships and this collaborative working can generate a positive knock-on effect and improve charitable organisations' impact on the wider community.

Of the 97% of charities surveyed by CAF who had developed innovative solutions during the pandemic, 45% collaborated or partnered with other charities ('non-profits'), yet only 27% said it was the most successful activity they did*.

So how can you ensure that any collaboration efforts will be worthwhile? The resources below offer guidance on what to consider for building an effective partnership.
