We’re delighted to be the headline sponsor of Fundraising Day during Small Charity Week (17-22 June).

And we want to encourage more small charities to fundraise online. So we’re offering members of the Foundation for Social Improvement the chance to win £750 when they set up a fundraising campaign on our donation platform, CAF Donate. It’s free to sign up to CAF Donate and there are no monthly fees.

How to enter

To enter the competition your charity will need to be:

1  New to CAF Donate;

2  A member of the Foundation for Social Improvement (membership is free and provides access to a wider small charity support programme); and

3  Registered with the Charity Commission, Office of the Scottish Charity Regulator, Charity Commission for Northern Ireland.

2  Help us get you onto CAF Donate as quickly as possible by reading the steps to opening your account below; and

3  Set up a fundraising campaign on CAF Donate by Thursday 18 July 2019 (one month after Fundraising Day)

How is the winner picked?

We’ll take all the qualified charities that have joined CAF Donate and set up a fundraising campaign during the competition and randomly select a winner in accordance with the terms and conditions of the prize draw.

    Small Charity Week Competition (the “FSI members prize draw”)

    Terms and conditions

    1. The promoter of this Foundation for Social Improvement ("FSI") members prize draw is the Trustees of Charities Aid Foundation of 25 Kings Hill Avenue, Kings Hill, West Malling, Kent, ME19 4TA (registered charity number 268369)(“CAF”).

    2. Entry into this FSI members prize draw will be deemed as acceptance of these terms and conditions.

    3. Employees or agencies of CAF group or any of its subsidiaries or their family members or anyone else connected to this FSI members prize draw shall not be permitted to enter it.

    4. There is no entry fee payable to enter into this FSI members prize draw.

    5. Who can apply: this FSI members prize draw is open to charities that are members of the FSI that have signed up to CAF Donate and set up their fundraising campaign by 18 July 2019. To enter, an entrant must:
      a. be a member of the Foundation for Social Improvement (all entries will be checked against the FSI database of members)
      b. registered with the Charity Commission, Office of the Scottish Charity Regulator, Charity Commission for Northern Ireland
      c. be a new  sign up to CAF Donate; and
      d. set up a fundraising campaign by midnight on Thursday 18 July 2019.

    6. Only one entry per charity will be entered into this FSI members prize draw. CAF accepts no responsibility for any taxes, duties, costs or other fees payable as a result of participation in this FSI members prize draw.

    7. CAF reserves the right to disqualify any entrant without notice if it has reasonable grounds to believe the entrant has breached any of these terms and conditions.

    8. CAF will select one successful entrant from all qualifying entries at random with the help of drawing software (or any other software or mechanics CAF may from time to time determine) on 25 July 2019.

    9. CAF will credit to the successful entrant’s bank account a donation of £750 in total by 15 August 2019 for use by the successful entrant to support their charitable organisation. The prize and/or the donation are non-exchangeable and non-transferable. No cash alternative for the prize and/or the donation will be offered.

    10. No responsibility can be accepted for entries not received for whatever reason. CAF cannot enter into correspondence with entrants who experience difficulties with entering online.

    11. CAF reserves the right to cancel or amend this FSI members prize draw and these terms and conditions without notice.

    12. The successful entrant will be contacted by email and/or phone call from CAF by 1 August 2019.

    13. CAF’s decision in respect of all matters to do with this FSI members prize draw shall be final and binding.

    14. CAF may invite the successful entrant to take part in the promotional activity in relation to this FSI members prize draw (including using his/her charity name in any marketing materials published by CAF both in paper and online) but the successful entrant shall have the right not to take part in such activity.

    15. Personal data supplied during the course of this promotion (if any) will only be processed as set out in CAF’s Privacy Policy and/or in accordance with the CAF Donate terms and conditions of business.

    16. To the maximum extent permissible by law, CAF accepts no liability for any damage, loss, injury or disappointment suffered by any entrant entering this FSI members prize draw. CAF is not responsible for any problems or technical malfunction of any telephone network or lines, computer on-line systems, servers, or providers, computer equipment or software, failure of any email or entry to be received on account of technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet, telephone lines or at any web site, or any combination thereof, including any injury or damage to entrant’s or any other person’s computer or mobile telephone related to or resulting from participation in this FSI members prize draw. Nothing shall exclude CAF’s liability for death or personal injury as a result of its negligence.

    17. This FSI members prize draw and these terms and conditions shall be governed by English law and any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.

    18. If any provision of these terms and conditions become or are invalid, illegal or unenforceable in any respect under any law, the validity, legality and enforceability of the remaining provisions shall not in any way be affected or impaired.
