Funds available to charities only

The following funds have been specifically designed with the needs of charitable investors in mind. These funds are only available to charitable organisations and include Common Investment Funds (CIFs) and Charity Authorised Investment Funds (CAIFs).

    James Pike

    Fund Manager
    James is Head of Charities and co-manager of the Waverton Charity Growth and Income Fund. He joined Waverton in 2008 from Barclays, holding positions managing portfolios and working within the Research Department constructing Global Sector Strategy. This involved liaising with analysts and economists, feeding ideas into stock, sector and asset allocation recommendations. Prior to this James worked at BZW Portfolio Management, managing UK and International private client portfolios. He originally began his career at Robert Fleming on their institutional fund management side after graduating in 1993 with a degree in Business Economics from Surrey University. He is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Securities & Investment (FCSI Dip.) and attended the 2011 Endowment Asset Management programme at the Judge Business School, Cambridge. James also sits on the management committee of the Charity Investors Group.

    Ian Enslin

    Lead Fund Manager
    Ian joined Waverton in April 2014 and is the lead fund manager for the Waverton Charity Growth and Income Fund. He is also responsible for managing segregated, multi-asset class mandates for charity clients. Ian joined from Newton Investment Management, where he managed similar strategies for charities and institutional investors for four years. Ian has also worked for Barings and Invesco in a variety of roles, but he focused primarily on fixed income investing and on managing private client portfolios. He started his investment career working on the Asian and emerging markets desk at Norwich Union. He graduated in Economic History from the University of Cape Town and has a postgraduate masters in History from the University of London. Ian is a Member of the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment (CISI) and is a member of the investment committee of a large UK charity.
