Established in 1994, Impact Arts is an innovative arts charity and Scotland’s leading organisation for tackling inequalities and addressing poverty through creative engagement. Across Scotland, we deliver transformational creative programmes for children, young people, adults, families and older people who are affected by poor life chances, disadvantages and/or barriers. Participants on our programmes are empowered to get creative, express themselves, build their confidence, learn new skills, gain qualifications and progress in life. We address a range of social issues including poor physical and mental health, experience of trauma, limited educational attainment, loneliness and higher risk of unemployment. What sets us apart? Creative engagement and the arts are embedded into every aspect of our delivery. We understand the power of creativity to bring powerful and positive changes to the lives of many, especially where other interventions have struggled.
