Recognition for your corporate giving

We're pleased to announce the Community Investment Award, part of this year's Global Good Awards.

Everyday we’re impressed by the generosity of our clients and their employees. They give to a wide range of causes in the UK and abroad and we are proud to support them with their charitable programmes.

That’s why we are delighted to collaborate with Ethical Angel to introduce the Community Investment Award at this year's Global Good Awards. This new award is the latest addition to the Global Good Awards, and will celebrate both volunteering and donations from businesses and their employees in 2020/21.

Why have we created this award?

We have created this award in collaboration with Ethical Angel because we want to celebrate everything you and your business’ employees do to make a difference to good causes around the world. We’re constantly amazed by the selflessness of employees in giving both their time and money, and the Community Investment Award is here to recognise all those efforts.

That’s not all though. By introducing the Ethical Angel and CAF Community Investment Award, we believe we will help to raise the profile of employer supported giving in businesses. This is because the Community Investment Award is not only an award, it is also a way for businesses to easily benchmark their corporate giving against businesses around the world and understand where they can be doing more. Through doing this, we hope that more businesses will have the confidence to take action, embracing employer supported giving, including donations and volunteering and providing their staff with ways to make a personal impact.

Who is the Award for?

The award is for businesses, no matter how big or small, that engage in corporate giving. The only requirement is that you and your employees have engaged in some level of:

Donations

  • Cash Donations and Matched Giving
  • Employee Fundraising Donations
  • In-kind Donations

Volunteering

  • Virtual Volunteering
  • In-person volunteering

How Do You Enter?

Entering your business in the Community Investment Award couldn’t be simpler, all you have to do is enter your business’ donations and volunteering data for your last financial year into our Corporate Giving Index Calculator by August 31st 2021.

And don’t worry if you’re from a small business. We know lots of awards can only be won by the biggest companies, but we wanted the Community Investment to celebrate the small and mighty as well! That’s why our award takes company size into account, levelling the playing field and giving a fair rank of corporate giving based on how much you volunteer and donate as a proportion of your workforce, not just how much you give in total.

When is the Award Announced?

The award will be announced at the Global Good Awards on September 22nd 2021.
