Philanthropy Comes of Age

The USA and UK have a rich heritage of charitable giving and donor advised funds (DAFs) are an excellent example of this shared culture, having originated in the USA in the 1930s. Since then, variations on the American DAF concept have arrived in the UK.

CAF is proud to have pioneered this way to give in the UK and accounts for more than half of the donations through donor advised funds and their UK equivalents.
