Giving across Europe
Even charities abroad can benefit from your home country's
Transnational Giving Europe (TGE) enables donors resident in one
of the participating countries to support charitable organisations
in other member countries, while benefiting directly from the tax
advantages provided for in their country of residence.
To use the scheme, you must:
- be resident in any of the participating
- donate to a charitable organisation in any of the other
countries in the network
Donations made through the scheme are then eligible to
receive the tax benefit of the country you are living in.
A fee will be deducted from your donations – 5%
up to 50,000 euros and 1% above this. This is capped at a
maximum fee of 6500 euros.
