Who are Britain's top 200 philanthropists?

View the full Giving List 2017

Since 2005, we've partnered with The Sunday Times to produce the annual Giving List, part of the Rich List, to celebrate the incredible work of philanthropists in Britain, many of whom are CAF clients.

The new Sunday Times Rich List 2017 is now published.

This year, Rich List philanthropists have donated a record £3.2 billion - 20% up on last year.

Top of the Giving List 2017 is Jamie Cooper, co-founder of the Children's Investment Fund Foundation, which gave away £207m to projects related to children's health and nutrition, and climate change.

  • How can we work with you?

If your clients are starting to think about charitable giving, they may be thinking of asking you the following questions:

    • I want to set up a foundation to support a specific cause, what are the next steps?
    • I want to start giving overseas but want to ensure my donations go to verified international charities, how do I do this?
    • What is the most tax effective way I can give to charity so I can make the most of my charitable giving?
    • I would like to leave multiple charitable legacies in my Will, how do I avoid all the administration that goes with it?

By partnering with us, we can answer the above questions and many more on your behalf.

  • Why offer charitable planning?
Advisors who offer a full charitable planning service differentiate their business from their competitors. But more important than that, it can deepen and strengthen existing relationships and meet an increasing demand for charitable planning advice.
