National Youth Jazz Collective is a new, vibrant music organisation established in 2006 by acclaimed jazz composer and educator Issie Barratt. Our aim is to provide high quality jazz training and performance opportunities for young jazz muiscians and their music leaders. Our work reaches across England from Cornwall to Kirklees and from London to Kendal. Last year, we worked with 285 young people aged 8 - 18 in regular activity, with an additional 2,000 reached through first access workshops
