David Wormsley

Independent Non-Executive Director, Chair-Elect, CAF Bank

David is Chairman of Stanhope PLC and has been a Governor of the London Museum since 2013. He was a Non-Executive Director on the Board of Glencore, the FTSE 100 mining company, from 2021 to 2024.

Until his retirement in 2021, David was Chair of UK Banking and Broking at Citigroup having previously run the group. During his 35-year career he was involved in all aspects of finance, both in the UK and overseas, from Initial Public Offerings and equity fundraising, both public and private, through to mergers and acquisitions, and debt financing.

David has advised the boards of a broad range of clients, both in the UK and internationally, in almost every market sector and of almost every size, including many FTSE 100 clients and HM Government.
