Expertise, shared

We work with everyone from commercial finance brokers and financial advisors to solicitors and building contractors. And because we speak the same language as those in the charity sector, we know the kinds of challenges that can crop up.

With expert support from us, you can support your clients with confidence. Bolster your relationship with them. And allow them to keep focusing on their chosen cause.

How it works

Our approach to collaborating with intermediaries runs on the spirit of partnership. Exactly what we can offer differs between projects, but one thing remains the same: we will help your client make giving go further.

Because ultimately, that’s what most charitable organisations are focused on.

What your client will need

There are a few things we would expect your client to have for a charity loan to be suitable for them. Here are some examples:

  • A business / development plan
  • At least three years of published accounts
  • The power to borrow and charge assets
  • Financial projections for the current and next financial year, with cash flow forecasts and annual budgets

There are many more depending on the project. We would cover these in detail with you in our initial discussion.

CAF Bank loans are non-regulated products.

Loan applications subject to credit assessment. Security will be required.

Charity assets may be at risk if you do not keep up with the repayments for a mortgage, loan or any other debt secured on them.

If you're thinking of consolidating existing borrowing, you should be aware that you may be extending the term of the debt and increasing the total amount you pay.
