Janet Pope

Chair, CAF Bank

Janet is a career banker. She has recently retired from her role as Chief of Staff and Chief Sustainability Officer at Lloyds Banking Group plc where she was the Group Executive Committee member with responsibility for Lloyds’ environmental and social justice programmes including the Lloyds Bank Foundations and social sustainability. 

Prior to joining Lloyds, Janet was Chief Executive, Alliance Trust Savings and EVP, Strategy at Visa. Earlier non-executive roles include the Banking Standards Board and Audit Committee Chair roles at the Rent Service (Department for Work and Pensions), Department for Communities and Local Government and Office of the Deputy Prime Minister. 

Janet is a Trustee on the Board of StepChange, a debt advisory charity and a Trustee at The Camden School for Girls.
