Carol Stuart

Head of HR (Operations), CAF Bank

Carol joined CAF Bank in November 2024 as Head of HR (Operations) to lead the development of the Bank’s strategic people plan and to oversee its implementation. 

As well as being part of the CAF Bank Exco, Carol is also part of the CAF People Team and works closely with them to ensure alignment of the people priorities for both the Foundation and the Bank. Carol joins us from HSBC, where she undertook a number of roles in Human Resources including HR consultancy; Global HR Business Partner for Finance; and regional HR Business Partner for Global Functions in Europe, giving her a good overview of all aspects of HR and financial services requirements.

Carol started her HR career with the Financial Training Company (now Kaplan Financial), working with them through a sale from their parent company, a takeover of a competitor and finally being bought by Kaplan, a US-based education company.  Carol then moved into Banking, joining Citi as their HR Business Partner supporting Finance across the EMEA region, before moving to HSBC in 2014.
