Janet Pope

Chair, CAF Bank

Janet is a career banker. She has recently retired from her Group Executive Committee role as Chief of Staff and Chief Sustainability Officer at Lloyds Banking Group plc. 

Prior to joining Lloyds, Janet was Chief Executive, Alliance Trust Savings and EVP, Strategy at Visa. Earlier non-executive roles include the Banking Standards Board and Audit Committee Chair roles at the Rent Service (Department for Work and Pensions), Department for Communities and Local Government and Office of the Deputy Prime Minister.

Janet is a NED on the Board of Yorkshire Building Society where she chairs the Environment and Social Purpose Committee. She is a Trustee on the Board of StepChange, a debt advisory charity; a Trustee at The Camden School for Girls, and a Non-Executive Board Member at the Department for Culture, Media and Sport (DCMS) whose Audit, Risk and Assurance Committee she chairs.
