Bring your vision to life

Whether you are planning to buy, build, redevelop or refurbish a property, or to acquire and develop land assets, we’re here to help.

Securing financial support for your church or faith group project can be difficult, if the lender does not understand your vision.

At CAF Bank, we share a common purpose with the organisations we work with – to amplify the power of good.

Our charity finance expertise and years of experience supporting causes like yours means that we know the right questions to ask. So we can help you consider if loan finance is a suitable option to fund your project.

Our flexible loans are tailored for UK-based churches, religious groups, charities and other not-for-profit organisations.

Here’s what we offer

  • Secured loans for land and property purchase, redevelopment, restoration and refurbishment projects
  • Refinancing of existing debt
  • Loan amounts of between £150,000 and £5m
  • Repayment terms over 2-25 years
  • Support of a dedicated relationship manager

What is a secured loan?

A secured loan is a loan backed by an asset your church or faith group owns. This could be a church property, for example. The asset is used as payment if you're unable to pay back the loan.

Amplify the power of good

More than 14,000 charitable organisations use our banking, deposit account and lending services. The reason: we understand charity finance like nobody else and we share your values.

Owned by major UK charity the Charities Aid Foundation, our profits are reinvested to support the charity sector. We take time to understand your finances, governance, business plan and vision.

Crucially, by focusing on the heartbeat of your project – its impact on your congregation and beneficiaries – we help you to build a stronger community.
