Janet Pope

CAF Trustee and Chair, CAF Bank

Janet is a career banker. She has recently retired from her role as Chief of Staff and Chief Sustainability Officer at Lloyds Banking Group plc where she was the Group Executive Committee member with responsibility for Lloyds’ environmental and social justice programmes including the Lloyds Bank Foundations and social sustainability.

Alison Taylor

Alison Taylor

CEO, CAF Bank and CAF Financial Solutions Limited

Alison joined CAF Bank as Chief Executive Officer in December 2019 and in 2021, she assumed responsibility for CAF Financial Solutions Limited, in addition to her role with CAF Bank. She is principally responsible for leading the Bank’s strategic focus on growing lending to charities and social enterprises and becoming the preferred banking partner for UK small and medium-sized charities.

Kees Diepstraten has held senior strategic and commercial roles with Lloyds Banking Group, Santander and previously in consulting, covering lending, various other businesses and banking reforms.

Astrid Grey

Astrid Grey

Non-Executive Director and Deputy Chair, CAF Bank

Astrid chairs the Board Risk & Compliance Committee.

Astrid has held various Risk Management positions throughout her 30 years' executive career, including Chief Operating Officer for Commercial Banking Risk and Risk Director at Lloyds Banking Group; and Chief Credit Officer at Deutsche Bank.

Neil Heslop OBE

Neil Heslop OBE

Chief Executive, CAF Group and Non-Executive Director, CAF Bank
Neil joined CAF as Chief Executive in October 2020. Under Neil’s leadership, annual charitable contributions entrusted to CAF topped £1 billion for the first time and continue to grow. As a result, hundreds of thousands of charities in more than 100 countries have been supported to deliver lasting benefits in communities around the world. Neil lost his sight aged 21 and is a law graduate from Newcastle University.

Sam is CEO of Moneyhub, the Open Finance platform for customer-centric organisations and a leading player in the field of financial data aggregation and intelligence. Before this, she worked for global advisory firms and innovative financial forecasting businesses.

Graham Toy

Graham Toy

Non-Executive Director, CAF Bank
Graham has spent his whole career specialising in commercial lending. He started with Barclays and spent 27 years in a variety of roles which included front line relationship management as well as a number of appointments into credit risk management positions.

Dave Watts

Non-Executive Director, CAF Bank

Dave joined HSBC in 1994 and has held a number of different roles within Finance, Global Banking & Markets and Audit in the UK, UAE, US and France, having visited HSBC operations in over 40 countries.

In December 2021, Dave returned to his role as a Director and Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of HSBC Bank plc.

Rob joined the CAF Bank Board in July 2023 having served as a CAF Trustee since January 2023. He has over 35 years’ experience of senior leadership positions across global banking organisations.

Ursula joined the CAF Bank Board in April 2023, bringing with her a wealth of experience across both the charity and financial services sectors. Since January 2022, Ursula has led Technology Strategy Delivery at Lloyds Banking Group.

Kerry Tremble

CAF Bank Chief Financial Officer
Kerry joined CAF Bank as Chief Financial Officer in January 2024 and is responsible for all aspects of financial management. 

Kerry has more than 30 years’ experience in Banking and Financial Services having previously been CFO at both Masthaven Bank and at World First, a global payments provider.
