Meet our Executive Team

Mark Greer

Managing Director, Charities Aid Foundation (CAF)

Mark is responsible for strategic and operational leadership at CAF, a major charity operating in the UK and internationally that works at the centre of the giving world. CAF provides market-leading services for corporate and individual donors as well as social investors, and strategic advisory services and tools to support charities.

Mark plays an active role as an advocate for philanthropy, impact investing and more widely the third sector, inspiring and educating influential stakeholders with the aim of accelerating progress in society.

Mark joined CAF in 2016 to lead the CAF American Donor Fund service for dual US/UK taxpayers, before taking on wider leadership roles.

He has spent much of his professional life working with people to help them realise their philanthropic ambitions. Prior to joining CAF, Mark worked as Philanthropy Director at UK Community Foundations and as CEO of the Beacon Awards for Philanthropy.

Earlier in his career, Mark led programmes engaged in intercultural work and community development, as well as working for a British MP and an ultra-high-net-worth family in Miami, Florida.

Mark is a philanthropy, impact and cross-border giving expert, whose background brings subject matter expertise to his leadership to ensure that CAF continues to innovate in a way that grows giving to achieve impactful change, and to build charity resilience in the UK and around the world.
