Meet our Trustees

Michael Ashley

Chair, Audit Risk and Compliance Committee

Mike has held non-executive roles spanning the private, public and third sectors. Until 2023, he chaired the Audit Committee of Barclays PLC. His current roles include being a Trustee and Treasurer at The Scout Association and Trustee at StepChange and a member of the UK Endorsement Board. He is a former member of the Charity Commission Board and International Ethics Standards Board for Accountants and Chair of the Cabinet Office Audit and Risk Committee and Chair of the Government Internal Audit Agency.
