How effective are we in managing our impact on the environment? Tough decisions need to be made about how we manage our environment. To make these decisions we need to know how effective we are in any environmental intervention that we make. Our vision is a world in which environmental decisions are under-pinned by robust scientific evidence. Our mission is to develop and promote an evidence-informed approach to environmental management, so that we can better conserve the biodiversity and natural services provided by our planet, for the benefit of all people. CEE acts as a knowledge broker; locating, synthesising and disseminating the most reliable information to support environmental decision-making. We aim to: improve links between the supply of and demand for evidence across environmental management; build a global network of people skilled in evidence synthesis; maintain a library of environment management evidence open to all.
