WHWC has been working since 1984 to enhance community cohesion and strengthen the community and is the only generic women’s centre in central London. We aim to empower disadvantaged women emotionally, socially and economically and encourage them to fulfil their potential. Our mission is to provide a safe, supportive and flexible space for all women to meet where they can access services for their health, personal development, safety, skill-based education, holistic therapies and support when they are in crisis. For many women just walking into the centre can be a big step. We provide a warm welcome to women from all cultures, ages, backgrounds, beliefs and status.
