This year's report explores the state of corporate giving in the UK, highlighting where progress is being made, where challenges remain and what leading organisations are doing to embed giving into their culture and strategy.
Why corporate giving is now a leadership issue and what the latest findings mean for businesses.
FTSE 100 companies continue to give significant sums to charity. But in 2025, total recorded FTSE 100 donations fell to £1.69 billion, the lowest reported level since the survey began.
The top five givers account for a large share of the total, but the full picture is more nuanced. The report explores which companies gave the most overall, which contributed the largest share of pre-tax profits and how levels of giving vary across sectors.

Most businesses still do not support charities. But the report suggests that limited budgets are not always the main reason. For many organisations, giving is held back by a lack of priority, awareness or understanding of its potential value to the business.
This makes corporate giving a leadership choice. Businesses that make giving visible, intentional and align it to wider priorities can create value for charities, employees, customers and communities.
A strong culture of giving goes beyond a single campaign. It is reflected in how decisions are made, how people take part, and whether giving is visible and consistent over time.
The report shows that employees want businesses to support charities, give them a say in where donations go and demonstrate the impact of their giving. Customers are also more likely to view businesses positively when they support charities and communities.
For many organisations, the challenge is not deciding whether giving matters. It is proving its value, protecting budgets and securing leadership support. The report explores the concerns businesses face and the practical steps that help overcome them.
