Meet our Executive Team

Barnaby Davis

Interim Chief Information Officer, Charities Aid Foundation

Barnaby has over 30 years’ experience leading technology and people-driven transformation in the financial services sector. Most recently, Barnaby was Apple’s Enterprise  Industry Leader for Banking and Insurance across EMEIA.

At the Charities Aid Foundation, Barnaby oversees our Technology, Data and Organisational Transformation teams in the UK, with a focus on delivering our future technology and data strategy.

Barnaby began his career at Barclays and was Electronic Banking Director through the 2000s before being appointed Managing Director of the UK Branch Network, leading a team of 20,000 colleagues across 1,700 high-street locations − delivering high-performance-organisation levels of growth across productivity, service and employee engagement.  Moving to Nationwide in 2014, Barnaby was appointed as Divisional Director for Group Retail Strategy, with accountabilities across Retail Strategy formulation, Digital and Mobile Banking, Customer Data and Insight, Branch Design and Future Branch Strategy.

Barnaby is a founding member of Save the Children UK’s Supporter Advisory Forum. Since 2016, the Forum has engaged cross-sector industry SMEs to help the charity strengthen its supporter data and insight orientation, digital channel development and marketing capability and brand strength.
