1. The promoter of this CAF Prize Draw (“Prize Draw”) is Charities Aid Foundation (CAF) of 25 Kings Hill Avenue, Kings Hill, West Malling, Kent, ME19 4TA.
2. Entry into this Prize Draw will be deemed as acceptance of these terms and conditions.
3. Who can enter: the Prize Draw is open to respondents to the survey ‘Charity Financial Needs’.
4. The Prize Draw is open to all UK residents aged 18 or over.
5. Employees or agencies of CAF group, or any of its subsidiaries or their family members, or anyone else connected to this Prize Draw shall not be permitted to enter it.
6. Only one entry per entrant is permitted for this Prize Draw. CAF Bank accepts no responsibility for any taxes, duties, costs or other fees payable as a result of participation in this Prize Draw.
7. How to enter: a respondent must complete the online survey by the 16 December 2024. Entries received after this time will not be counted for the Prize Draw.
8. There is no fee payable to enter this Prize Draw.
9. Requesting information about, or purchasing, CAF’s products and services is not a mandatory requirement to enter the Prize Draw.
10. CAF reserves the right to disqualify any entrant without notice, if it has reasonable grounds to believe the entrant has breached any of these terms and conditions.
11. CAF will select one successful entrant from all qualifying entries at random, with the help of drawing software (or any other software or mechanics CAF may from time-to-time determine) by 6 January 2025.
12. CAF will contact the successful entrant using the email address provided in the entrant’s submitted registration form for the Prize Draw.
13. CAF will ask the winning entrant to nominate a UK-based charitable organisation to receive the £250 donation. If the successful entrant does not respond to CAF within 14 days of being notified, the prize will be forfeited and CAF will be entitled to select another winner in accordance with the process described above.
14. Subject to successful verification of the nominated charitable organisation, conducted by CAF, a £250 donation will be credited to the winning entrant’s chosen beneficiary charity by 10 February 2025. CAF will notify the winning entrant when the donation has been completed and request a remittance advice from the beneficiary charity to confirm its receipt.
15. The donation prize is non-exchangeable and non-transferable. No cash alternative for the prize will be offered.
16. No responsibility can be accepted for entries not received for whatever reason. CAF cannot enter into correspondence with entrants who experienced difficulties registering their details online.
17. CAF reserves the right to cancel or amend this Prize Draw and these terms and conditions without notice.
18. CAF’s decision in respect of all matters to do with this Prize Draw shall be final and binding.
19. CAF must either publish or make available information to evidence that a valid prize award took place. To comply with this obligation, CAF will send the surname and county of the prize winner to anyone who emails research@cafonline.org or writes to: Research Manager, CAF, 25 Kings Hill Avenue, Kings Hill, West Malling, Kent ME19 4TA, enclosing a self-addressed envelope, within one month after the closing date stated in condition 7. If you object to any or all of your surname, county being published or made available, please email research@cafonline.org. In such circumstances, CAF must still provide information on the winning entry to the Advertising Standards Authority, upon request.
20. CAF may invite the successful entrant to take part in promotional activity in relation to this Prize Draw (including using his/her organisation name in any marketing materials published by CAF in print and/or online). However, the successful entrant shall have the right not to take part in such activity.
21. Personal data supplied during the course of this promotion will only be processed as set out in CAF Group’s Privacy Policy.
22. To the maximum extent permissible by law, CAF accepts no liability for any damage, loss, injury or disappointment suffered by any entrant entering this Prize Draw. CAF is not responsible for any problems or technical malfunction of any telephone network or lines, computer online systems, servers, or providers, computer equipment or software, failure of any email or entry to be received on account of technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet, telephone lines or at any web site, or any combination thereof, including any injury or damage to entrants or any other person’s computer or mobile telephone related to or resulting from participation in this Prize Draw. Nothing shall exclude CAF’s liability for death or personal injury as a result of its negligence.
23. This Prize Draw and these terms and conditions shall be governed by English law and any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
24. If any provision of these terms and conditions become or are invalid, illegal or unenforceable in any respect under any law, the validity, legality and enforceability of the remaining provisions shall not in any way be affected or impaired.
