ALISON TAYLOR, CEO, CAF BANK
Alison joined CAF Bank in December 2019 as Chief Executive Officer to lead our strategic pivot towards increased lending to Charity and Social Purpose Enterprise customers and to oversee the completion of our operational and digital transformation programme.
Alison joins us from HSBC, where she undertook a mix of Corporate Banking leadership roles and additionally spent two years as HSBC UK Chief of Staff on the Executive Committee responsible for implementing and managing the transition of HSBC’s ring-fenced bank, HSBC UK.
Initially Alison trained as a Chartered Accountant with Deloitte, working in Corporate Finance and M&A across sectors both here in the UK and overseas. Subsequently, Alison transitioned to Banking, joining Clydesdale & Yorkshire Banking Group PLC to drive their Leveraged Finance business in London and undertaking a mix of Leveraged and Corporate banking senior management roles before joining HSBC in 2014.
CHARITABLE ROLES
Alison has a long track-record of charitable engagement and volunteering, and is a passionate advocate of placing our customers and colleagues at the heart of everything that we do. Alison is a Trustee of the GDST Academies Trust, a mentor with Aspire and the 30% Club and works closely with a number of personal charitable interests.
