DONATE
'Regifting' presents is becoming more popular, so if you
don’t have time to sell them yourself, why not donate your unwanted
Christmas gifts to your local charity shop and let them do the
work for you.
You can donate some items straight to charity. For example:
- Children’s toys can be gifted to a children’s
ward in a hospital (don’t forget to check what they can
accept)
- Books can be gifted to a library, school or
any other literacy-based charity
- Sports equipment can be donated to local sport
clubs
- Clothes can be donated to a homeless
shelter
Some charitable organisations will accept gifts such as
furniture, bikes and computers but be sure to check with the
charity that they have a need for the item. Our charity search can help you
find a new home for your unwanted goods.
