CAF Charity Account Letter of Wishes

When planning for the future, it’s common to think about what you would like to leave loved ones in your Will. Similarly, a Letter of Wishes will let us know who you'd like to receive the funds in your CAF Charity Account after you die, so you can continue your legacy of giving.

What is a Letter of Wishes?

A Letter of Wishes is a legal document which you use to provide instructions on how the balance of funds should be distributed on the closure of your CAF Charity Account. That way, you can rest assured that the remaining money will go to the causes you care about the most.

By completing a Letter of Wishes now, it can make the distribution of funds a very straightforward process.

What if I don't complete a Letter of Wishes?

In the event of your death, the funds in your Charity Account will be transferred to CAF’s Foundation Fund if there is no Letter of Wishes in place. This fund will be used for our work supporting charities in the UK and around the world.

Can I change my mind?

If you change your mind about which charities you'd like to donate to, simply send us a new Letter of Wishes. No matter how many times you need to change it, there’s no extra cost to you.
